Terms of Service

These terms govern use of this website, checking a gift card's status and the redemption system used by staff. They are separate from, and do not replace, the specific terms and conditions printed on or attached to each gift card campaign (minimum purchase amount, validity dates, applicable outlets, and so on), which continue to govern the gift card itself and are shown when you check your card.

The service

This website lets a gift card recipient ("cardholder") check a card's value, validity, and redemption status by entering the card number and PIN printed on the card, or by scanning a QR code. It also provides a redemption tool for authorized VVC Group staff at participating outlets.

Card number and PIN

The card number and PIN are provided to you by your partner institution or printed on your physical/digital card. You are responsible for keeping your PIN confidential. Anyone who presents a valid card number and PIN, and who completes the identity verification step, will be treated as authorized to redeem the card. VVC Group is not responsible for losses arising from a PIN that was shared or not kept secure by the cardholder.

Redemption

A gift card may only be redeemed in accordance with the terms of the specific campaign it was issued under, displayed when you check the card.
Redemption requires verification of the person present, either through a one-time code sent to a registered mobile number or email, or by the cardholder entering the PIN themselves on the in-store device.
Once redeemed, a card cannot be used again. Reversal of a redemption is only possible through VVC Group's internal administrative process.

No monetary value outside the program

Gift cards issued under this program have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and can only be applied against a purchase meeting the campaign's stated terms at a participating outlet.

Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to guess PINs, probe the system for other cardholders' card numbers, or otherwise attempt to access a card that was not issued or presented to you for legitimate redemption. We monitor for and may rate-limit or block activity that looks like an attempt to do so.

Availability

We aim to keep this website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or technical issues may temporarily prevent card status checks or redemptions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VVC Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website, except in cases of our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Hyderabad, Telangana having exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
